GEORGE FLOYDS MEMORIAL AND THE DEFUND THE POLICE PROTEST IN MINNEAPOLIS

If you all aint been to see the memorial or march you all need to watch this cause these Minnesotans know how to do it right!! I drove to Minneapolis which is a 6.5 hour drive from Chicago. I was never expecting how much love they were going to show for George FLoyd. They had a huge memorial where he was killed at. There was murals, flowers and alot of handwritten letters posted on where he was killed. They were giving out free food and flowers and NO POLICE around at all. There was alot of white folks their supporting the cause.

Than we went to the Protest for defunding the Minneapolis Police dept. They were kicking it at this protest. It was totally different than the way Chicago protests are. In Chicago the police are everywhere with batons looking like they going to beat ur ass but here they were dancing shaking their ass and twerking. It was actually a relaxed positive march not having to worry about police with batons around. Once we passed the mayors house, they called him out and he came out. They asked him one question are you going to defund the police and he said no. they booed his ass back to the house and still no police around. The next day the committee agreed to defund the Police dept. maybe Protests work!!
